Our Sunday

This is what took place in front of our house this last Sunday afternoon.

We left to go to the grocery store and found this on our front sidewalk.

We called the water company and they sent their foreman out to access the situation. He checked and found that our meter was not moving from the leak, which was great news and meant that it wasn't our responsibility to fix it. His explained that his crew was already out fixing another problem, but they would be by later in the afternoon to fix it. It turned out our leak was the third of the day that they had to fix.

It was about 4:00 pm the action started...

Gus sat at the window and was on guard pretty much the whole time... what a good boy and great protector!
